“On behalf of my colleagues, we want to thank Alamanda for its generosity during this difficult time for many. Being remembered in conjunction with Hari Malaysia makes it more meaningful as it is a visible reminder that we are not forgotten,” said Datuk Dr. Nora’I Mohd Said, Director of Hospital Putrajaya.

According to Andrew Brien, CEO for Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd, the food and beverage donation is a continuity of the group’s ‘We Are With You’ theme, whereby the group will continue in its ongoing efforts to support the country’s dedicated frontliners.

“Hari Malaysia is a good occasion to look beyond ourselves. And as Malaysia continues to battle the COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of dedicated frontliners can never be underestimated. In this spirit, it will gratify us if we are able to bring some cheer to others on this long journey to fight the pandemic,” he said.

Alamanda Shopping Centre purchased some snacks and chilled drinks from its tenants to be delivered to the beneficiaries at Hospital Putrajaya. Purchases were made from outlets such as Sushi King, Dunkin Donuts, Famous Amos, Tealive, Mahnaz Food and Joybean.

“This round of CSR activity will continue to establish Alamanda as a shopping centre that cares for the frontliners and the community. For a change, we have decided to include snacks and chilled drinks for tea time as opposed to just dried items. We hope this will be a Hari Malaysia to remember, and thank the frontliners for a job well done,” added Brien.
