Recipe: Char Siew Lamb

After attending Your Trusted Halal Australian Beef and Lamb, from Farm to Plate Webinar I decided to be a bit creative and whip-up this Char Siew Lamb for dinner using True Aussie Lamb Shoulder Chops. It turn-out so delicious and I am going to cook this dish again soon. Check out my recipe below.

Ingredients: Char Siew Lamb

1pc Aussie Lamb Shoulder Chop

2 tablespoon Char Siew Sauce

1 tablespoon Honey

1 tablespoon Sesame Oil

1 tablespoon Cooking Oil

Sesame Seeds

Cili Padi

Methods: Char Siew Lamb


1. Marinate the lamb with Char Siew Sauce, Sesame Oil, and Honey for at least 3 hours, best is overnight.

2. Heat the pan with medium heat and oil. Cook the lamb for about 3 minutes on each side.

3. Heat up the remaining marinade sauce. Add the remaining sauce, sprinkle some sesame seeds and cili padi on the Char Siew Lamb. Served with bok choy and steamed rice.

The Char Siew Lamb is perfect, tender, juicy, and flavour is just the way i  like it. Going to cook this dish again soon
