Avene & Vanity Trove Beauty Workshop @ Café Barbera, Bangsar

Hello Sunshine! What is the best of the best Avene product? Without hesitation we all know is Avene Thermal Spring Water. It is clinically proven by over 300 studies to calm, soothe and soften the skin for sensitive skin more than 250 years since 1743. From this Avene & Vanity Trove Beauty Workshop 2 Café Barbera, Bangsar I learned more about Avene's products and also the Avene Hydrotherapy Center in Avenes-les Bains, France to treat serious dermatological conditions such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and eczema.

We were briefed about Avene’s history, products and also the Avene Hydrotherapy Center before we start the hands on workshop. Wow in Avene Hydrotherapy Center you drink, shower and spa all using the Thermal Spring Water.

Avene skincare, best, sensitive skin

Avene Micellar Lotion Cleanser and Make-Up Remover
First cleanse the face with Avene Micellar Lotion Cleanser and Make-Up Remover using cotton pad. No rinse require so this is quite convenient. Pour reasonable amount on cotton pad and wipe away the makeup & impurities.  Then spray Avene Thermal Spring Water generously all over face and use a clean cotton pad or tissue to wipe and dry the face. This cleansing water cleanses skin, removes impurities and effectively removes all traces of make-up on face, eyes and lips with no rinsing. Hydrates and calms the skin, leaving skin moisturized and soft. This Micellar Lotion is soap free, oil free, alcohol-free, preservative-free, oil-free and pleasant fragrance. It is hypoallergenic and non comedogenic so its suitable for sensitive skin.

Avene Gentle Milk Cleanser
Then double cleanse again with Avene Gentle Milk Cleanser also using cotton pad. Repeat the steps again, pour reasonable amount on cotton pad and wipe away the makeup & impurities. Then spray Avene Thermal Spring Water generously all over face and use a clean cotton pad or tissue to wipe and dry the face. This is a gentle cleanser that is suitable for dry and sensitive skin user. It’s creamy, no-rinse milk cleanser. Gently removes impurities, make-up and cleanse skin without irritation while respecting the integrity of the hydro-lipidic film. It provides moisture and antioxidant protection. Moisturizing ingredients leave skin soft, supple and smooth. No rinse and soap-free.

Avene Thermal Spring Water
This is an essential skincare for sensitive skin user. It contains 100% Avène Thermal Spring Water and Nitrogen gas, a non-flammable inert gas that is ozone friendly. It is bottled directly from the source, bacteriologically pure and preservative free. Calms, soothes and softens skin. The low salt mineral content does not dry out the skin plus it is rich in silicate and trace elements. pH 7.5 perfect balance of anions and cations. Tips: Do not shake the bottle to avoid Nitrogen gas loss. If there is no more gas inside then we can’t spray anymore.

I learned that there are a few ways we can use the Avene Thermal Spring Water. Well, the most common one is just spray on face or body for hydration, soothing and cooling. Another way I learn from this workshop is that we can use Avene Thermal Spring Water as mask too. This is a very simple and effective treatment when you have sunburn or reaction to a cosmetic product, heat, skin itchiness, discomfort after chemical peeling or laser treatment or suddenly your skin became sensitive.
