A List Malaysian Feast Ramadhan Buffet at Nook, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral

I am back to Nook, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral last week for Ramadan Buffet review. Roast lamb is always my favourite and a must try at Nook. This year Aloft ushers in Ramadan with the A-list Malaysian Feast. It is a feast with sumptuous and delectable spread to be savoured with our loved ones, family and friends. Sample traditional local Malay delicacies, succulent barbecue, seafood delights and juicy roasted whole lamb. Get ready to savour Malaysian Food Feast.

Stuffed Whole Lamb Kuzi served with Nasi Briyani

The A-list Malaysian Feast is created by Chef Steven Seow and his team, offering Chef’s star dishes such as Stuffed Whole Lamb Kuzi served with Nasi Briyani, Vegetable Dhall, Cucumber and Pineapple Acar, Papadom, and Mint-Tomato Yoghurt, Nasi Lemak, Satay, Rendang Ayam, Roasted Whole Chicken with Green Peppercorn Sauce, served with Local Market Buttered Vegetables.

Nasi briyani, roast lamb, chicken rendang and papadam. This is the combination that I love. I like the lamb with the curry gravy and the briyani rice is aromatic. Rendang chicken not bad and the papadom is the best. How many times I have mentioned I love to eat lamb and spicy food hehehe... everytime when I review ramadhan buffet I always start with lamb and briyani. This is sort of my benchmark.

Papadom

This crispy papadom is as big as my plate and its full of spices.

Sambal Sotong

Surprisingly the Sambal Sotong at Nook is really good, the spiciness and sweetness is just right. I like the fragrant and the thickness of the gravy, so appetizing. You could either eat it with white rice or nasi lemak.

Rendang Ayam

Rendang Ayam is also juicy and tender. You can taste the richness of spices in the gravy.

Breaded Fish Fillet

Initially I thought of skipping this dish but Jennifer told me its good so I took a piece and then I take some more on my second round.

Chimmuchuri Mayo

You must eat the breaded fish fillet with the Chummuchuri Mayo. Actually the minty mayo is the best sauce, must try. I think it goes well with the samosa and other fried food also.

Bubur Lambuk

Bubur Lambuk is the favourite dish or the dish that you can in Ramadhan Buffet and also Bazaar.

Sarawak Laksa

Sarawak Laksa is one of the must try at the noodle bar Nook, Aloft. If you can't take spicy, they have two type of soup base sarawak laksa and chicken soup.

Ginger Chicken

This is more like oriental style Ginger Chicken reminds me of my mom's cooking. I only try a small piece because there are so many dishes to try.

Kentang Kurma

Kentang kurma is special, usually i get assorted vegetable or ayam kurma. The gravy is creamy and not too spicy, good.

BBQ and Grill Section

BBQ or Grill Seafood

Roasted Whole Chicken with Green Peppercorn Sauce

The Dim Sum and Steam Dishes

Ulam and Salad Corner

I like Rojak Buah especially with young mango and pineapple

Variety of Malay and Nyonya Kuih

Kurma Kukus Bersantan

Have you try Kurma Kukus Bersantan? It is sweet and creamy. According to Chef Steven Seow this delicacy is from Perak and usually served at the palace or for the royal family.

DIY Ice Kacang corner

Roti John

Satay is Malaysian Favourite
