These special Thai cuisines are curated and prepared by Guest Chef Weerapong Pleakha and Phatthira Pheungthin of the Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort, Thailand. What to expect? Well, be prepared to experience the en-THAI-ced by the widespread of flavorsome buffet line.

Here are some of the must-try appetizers includes the “Rhoom” – Egg Net wrapped with Minced Chicken and Shrimp, “Goong Sarong” Fried Prawn in Vermicelli, Spicy Green Mango with Crispy Soft Shell Crab tossed in sweet and sour Thai Vinaigrette, and “Yam Woonsen Talay”- Glass Noodle Salad with Seafood. As you know, I love salad and Thai salad such as Som Tam and Mango Salad are my all-time favourite.

Tom Yam Talay

 When think about Thai cuisine the must-have and must-try is Tom Yam Talay which is the traditional spicy seafood soup cooked with the straw mushrooms, shallots, and lemongrass. This is the vegetarian Tom Yam soup version, there is no seafood or meat in it. Plus you can also opt for a soupy-based broth such as the Tom Kha Ghai, which is chicken cooked in coconut milk broth.

Tom Yam Talay, Goong Lai Sua Nam Makarn, Massaman Chicken, Black Pepper Squid

Besides, these there are many more mouth-watering Thai dishes to savour such as the “Haw Mok Thalay”- Southern Style Seafood Curry Souffle in Banana Leaf; “Kaeng Kiew -Whan Gai” – Green Curry Chicken; and ‘Goong Lai Sua Nam Makarn’ – Tiger Prawn with Tamarind;. Among all the Massaman Chicken or Massaman Nua – Braised Beef Cheek in Massaman Curry are Chef’s specialty.
