Hada Labo We Care For Nature Campaign To Replant Forest Trees in Hutan Simpan Sungai Besi

Hada Labo in collaboration with the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) and Watsons Malaysia, has over the last two years planted 1,400 forest trees in the Klang Valley in conjunction with its ‘We Care for Nature’ campaign.

Hada Labo’s ‘We Care for Nature’ campaign in its third year running this year, hopes to plant at least 1,000 tree saplings on the two-hectare land of Hutan Simpan Sungai Besi with the funds raised through this campaign.

According to I.S Shanmugaraj, the Executive Director of Malaysian Nature Society (MNS), our green canopy is shrinking due to natural areas being cleared to make way for development, logging, plantations, housing and various other human exploits. 

“This has resulted in the decreasing number of wildlife habitat and affecting our endangered wildlife species as well path a way for greater climate change impact which can lead to the rising of temperatures”, said Shanmugaraj. 

Lim Mei Yuen, the General Manager of Rohto-Mentholatum (M) Sdn Bhd said that the campaign is aimed to create a sustainable environment by planting more trees for a balanced ecosystem and also to offer the urban wildlife a forest refuge in the years to come.

Starting from 29 September 2022 – 30 October 2022, with every purchase of Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion at Watsons outlets nationwide, RM1 will be donated to the tree planting at Hutan Simpan Sungai Besi. 

The public is encouraged to take part in this campaign to contribute in the tree planting. Together we can help preserve the environment and make this place a better place for us to live in.
