Koh Samui, Thailand: A Blissful Weekend Getaway by Corona

Sawadeka…! 2 weeks ago, I was in Koh Samui, Thailand for 3 days 2 nights trip organized by Corona Malaysia under Corona Let The World Wait contest. Wootz! Its time to get ready to discover meaningful moments together with family and friends. I met quite a few familiar faces on this trip and we had a a great time catching up with each other. Some of them I knew through Facebook and finally managed to meet them in person. This post has a lot of pictures yo...

On Friday 10th May, we took the 1.35pm Firefly flight FY3308 from Subang to Koh Samui. It’s only 1 hour 45 mins flight. I am glad that Corona Malaysia chose Firefly because it depart and arrive at Subang Airport. Yippee! we do not have to travel so far to KLIA. When we arrived Koh Samui the weather was good, sunny and clear blue sky.

Yeah!!!!

Koh Samui is small and quiet island off the east coast of the Kra Isthmus in Thailand. It is not that commercial and crowded like in Phuket. The beautiful white sand beaches, clean, clear warm water; surrounded by rainforest, lush tropical gardens and gentle ocean breezes. Its my ideal getaway destination. Enjoying the sea breeze and savoring my chilled Corona at the beach ~ blissful. Koh Samui also famous for the Full Moon Party in Koh Phangan island.

We stayed in Chaweng Buri Resort & Spa. It’s a 4 star resort and guess what we got to stay in a Villa, best!

Surprise! Surprise! When I entered my villa I saw 6 bottles of Corona and lime smilling at me, plus there was a fruits platter on the table too.

Check out my villa yo! So lovey dovey I love the way they make the bath towels into these swans awww… so sweet. Overall, the my room was great with speedy internet connection, bath tub, fridge, international tv chanels, safe deposit box, air cond and all the amenities that I need. Wootz! Syiok nyer lepak here.

Our resort is located in Chaweng area, which is the happening area in Koh Samui. Its very convenient for us, the moment we walked out we can find many restaurants, food stalls, shops, night market, bazaar, spas, mini markets, tattoo shops, and pharmacy, not forgetting the night spot like discos, pubs, clubs, caberat show, ah kua / pondan show, muay thai stadium and etc…

During the day, most people will spent their time at the beach, pool, islands hopping and tour. At night the streets became alive, the crowd, street stalls and music roaring from the clubs and pubs.

This was a free and easy trip; our flight, hotel, airport transfer and breakfast was covered. Since this is my second time to Koh Samui so I did not booked any tours and make many arrangements.

I just want to kick back and relax; enjoyed the breeze, beach and corona, read my book and enjoyed the spa there (so much cheaper compared to KL).

This is the Spa i visited two day in a row, it's cheap, clean & good
