Fashion show on the recently launched Autumn/Winter 2012 collection. The latest must-have styles from the top British designers, including Julien Macdonald, Jasper Conran and Henry Holland, were unveiled with a fashion show on Starhill Gallery’s Explore floor while those in attendance dined on treats from the Debenhams Café.

The fashion show consisted of the latest collections for women and men with models donning stylish garments, including sporting an Army theme for the ladies with a military inspired look which has dominated catwalks.

The traditional winter dark colours along with stylish metal buttons and neat shoulder epaulettes has combined to create some of the most stunning designs of the season. Elaborate rich fabrics are a must have for the season with the Rich & Opulent theme which works well on shirts and dresses.

Another theme is the checks and plaids Town & Country theme which is based on the strong British heritage of neat ‘hacking’ jackets, pencil skirts, trousers, shift dresses and coats that have been designed with colours of winter greens, dark chocolate and burnt orange. The sexy theme for women from the Autumn/Winter collection is The Mistress – Leather & Lace. Notable dresses are those from the ‘Star’ and ‘Diamond’ collections by Julien Macdonald which possesses sheer panels, lace details, exposed zips and peephole details, all designed to give a sexy feel.

Malaysia’s men can stand out this Autumn/Winter season by updating their look with the nautical themed Cruel Sea which carries a range of stylish garments such as hooded smock jackets. The English countryside can integrate with Malaysia as men can don clothes from the Heritage theme which includes brushed cotton shirts and cord trousers in earthy browns, tan and forest green colours.

Spread across 37,000 square feet and housing the largest Debenhams’ collections in Asia, Starhill Gallery’s Debenhams is set to be even bigger and better than ever.
