K-Pop with Love: An enthusiastic K-Pop danceto 

Do you have talent in acting, singing, talking, dancing or...? If yes, have you go for an audition before? This is about the talented young malaysians journey through stardom achieving their dreams and aspirations. Young Malaysians followed their hearts and auditioned for Kisah Chenta Cornetto Uda & Dara for a shot at stardom. They sang, danced and acted all the way into the hearts of four celebrity judges, and earned themselves starring roles in the K-Pop themed drama series conceptualized by Cornetto.

Directed by Prem Pillai, Kisah Chenta Cornetto Uda & Dara is scheduled to air on Astro Ria (Channel 104) from May 1 for nine weeks. The drama series showcases the lives of three couples who dived into a self-discovery journey, enjoyed a ride filled with trials and tribulations, only to love the ending as they got one step closer to their dream of stardom.

The successful contestants were mentored by popular actress and television host, Yasmin Hani; ERA fm radio announcer, Shaq; winner of So You Think You Can Dance Malaysia Season 1, Alam; and veteran model, television and stage actor, Tony Eusoff.

Not only that, the contestants were in for a treat as they got to act alongside Malaysian celebrities including Dafi Ismail, ChaCha Maembong, Alif Hadi, Radhi Khalid, Mustapha Kamal, Normah Damanhuri, Namron, Sheila Mambo and Azhar Sulaiman, with several special appearances by Yasmin Hani, Alam and two ERA fm radio announcers; Shaq and Haniff Hamzah.

Cornetto in conjunction with the special trailer of the drama series introduced a new packaging for its Classic and Royale variants. The crown is now packed with chocolate wholesomeness, topped with crunchy peanuts and wrapped with everyone’s favourite crispy wafer filled with a chocolate tip – a gastronomic journey bound to tantalise consumers’ taste buds from start to the end.

Tune in to Astro Ria (Channel 104) every Wednesday at 9.00pm starting from May 1, with repeats every Saturday at 5.00pm for a glimpse into the K-Pop adventure of the contestants, and how they realised their true potentials to make their dream of becoming a TV star come true.
