The thousand-feathered Peacock gown exuding sheer elegance, true luxury and style its the first-of-its-kind gown in awe-inspiring emerald green. Aptly named ‘Stylish Beginnings’, the gown has more than 1,500 peacock feathers set across twelve long meters of silk. Hand-stitched to perfection by 10 students over 60 laborious hours, this live masterpiece’s long train and intricate detailing are designed to actualize the overall silhouette of a peacock.

Cultural performances and dances

Pavilion KL has also put together cultural performances and dances together with a line-up of fun and educational activities, to further accentuate the traditional values of this festive season.

The Rising Mayur measuring 26 x 26 feet at the main entrance of Pavilion KL

Set in Pavilion KL mall’s main entrance is The Rising Mayur, an extravagant beauty that has long been the symbol of royalty and immortality, the kolam measuring 26’ x 26’ is set to welcome and pour out blessings on everyone, with its glorious hues of green, crimson, royal blue and yellow. 


This is specially designed by the talented students of Raffles College of Higher Education, the kolams were made using 586kg of hand-dyed rice and spices and took 35 students four days to complete.


From 1-13 Nov 2012, visitors who spend a minimum of RM300 will qualify for one entry into the Pavilion KL Deepavali Daily Lucky Draw. Those who shop at Fashion Avenue will gain two entries. There will be merchandises worth RM1,000 from the Fashion Avenue precinct are up for grabs.
