Berjaya Times Square ‘Shop & Win’ Live Draw with 17 Shoppers Wrap Up the Campaign with a Bang

This is in conjunction with the 1Malaysia Mega Sale, Berjaya Times Square Kuala Lumpur ended its ‘Shop & Win’ campaign last Saturday, 8th Sept 2012 by rewarding 17 shoppers in an exciting event that showcased performances which transported the audience to the sandy beaches of Gold Coast, glitzy New York and heart racing Korea.

Berjaya Times Square KL rewarded its shoppers with more than RM125,000 
worth of prizes in 'Shop & Win' campaign

Giving away more than RM125,000 worth of prizes comprising of 3 grand prizes which are vacations to New York (US), Gold Coast (Australia), Seoul (Korea). To provide a wholesome experience, each grand prize comes with return airfares, personalised sightseeing tours, private transfers, and luxurious accommodations for 2 plus cash in the currency of each destination (USD2,000, AUD2,000 or KRW2,000,000) for the lucky winners to shop.

A lecturer by profession, Dr. Wan Jamaliah Wan Jusoh won the 5d4n Gold Coast prize. Winner of the Seoul prize, Fong How Yee (24) was speechless as he walked to the stage for the second time that day. With the earlier prize of an iPad 3, Fong would be the biggest winner that evening.

Ten Li Hoong travelled from Kuala Terengganu to Kuala Lumpur to attend this Live Draw event. Ten, who only had 6 entries deposited into the New York draw box was jubilant as she skipped to the stage from across the concourse, citing that this would be her first trip to the America.

Other consolations prizes such as iPad 3, Samsung Galaxy SIII, Samsung LED 42” television, and various lifestyle brand sponsors. Such a great prizes for this campaign no wonder that the Live Draw recorded an overwhelming 13,500 entries. During the Live Draw there were big crowd gathered at the Lower Ground Concourse.

Besides, Berjaya Times Square Kuala Lumpur also organized an online challenge via its Facebook fanpage. Titled ‘Snap & Win’, shoppers upload picture of them in their favourite outlet in the mall together with slogan / caption. 75 year old Sam Leong who got the most ‘likes’ on their entry would win a trip for 2 to Bali, Indonesia for 3D2N.
