Jom Balik Kampung Bersama SOGO & PAYNET Contest has successfully concluded its eighth edition, offering participants a unique chance to win attractive prizes such as Perodua Aruz 1.5X Auto, a Perodua Bezza 1.3X Auto, a RM10,000 SOGO Gift Voucher and other valuable prizes exceeding RM150,000 in total value.

The first challenge is the "Spin-2-Advance" phase, the 28 contestants will form two teams of 14 members each. Contestants will take turns spinning a wheel with values ranging from 1 to 12, advancing those with higher values. 

Subsequently, the "Wind of Fortune" challenge will see the 14 contestants entering a "Wind Chamber" one by one, with a 30-second opportunity to collect colored papers of varying point values. Prizes will be awarded based on final standing points.

The contest started back in March 24 and ended in May 31, 2023, coinciding with SOGO Raya celebration. Co-organized with Payments Network Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. ("PayNet"), the contest welcomed all MyDebit cardholders to participate by making purchases at SOGO stores and/or SOGO Food Garden on Level 6 of SOGO Kuala Lumpur.

With an encouraging response, the contest garnered over 40,000 entries. For every RM50 purchase, shoppers received ONE (1) entry form, accompanied by the engaging task of estimating the number of 'ketupat' in a substantial balloon. Among the entries, 28 finalists were selected based on their accurate or nearest answers.
