Malaysia Rank 63rd in 2012 Olympics London Medal Tally

Badminton Men’s Singles Datuk Lee Chong Wei bagged a silver medal while Pandelela Rinong Anak Pamg clinched a bronze in the Women's 10m Platform Diving.

Finally London Olympics 2012 comes to an end yesterday 12th August 2012. I wonder who actually stayed up till 3am (Malaysia time) to watch the closing ceremony. London Olympics 2012 ended and signed off in style on a spectacular note with rocking performances from A-list British pop and rock artists (past and present) such as Spice Girls, The Who, Take That and included an electrifying teaser from artists from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, where the next Summer Olympics will be held.

Malaysia ranked 63rd among the 85 countries in the London Olympics 2012 medal tally with a silver and a bronze. Malaysia shared the position with Bulgaria, Estonia, Indonesia, Puerto Rico and Taiwan.

The United States became the 2012 Olympic champions racked 46 gold, 29 silver and 29 bronze medals. While China slipped to the second place with 38 gold, 27 silver and 23 bronze medals. Meanwhile, hosts Britain finishing in third place with 29 gold, 17 silver and 19 bronze medals.
