Aladdin The Musical: Behind the Scene & Meet the Cast

I have blogged about this few weeks ago, Yes finally!!! Aladdin The Musical opening night for this West End Production is on 25th Nov in a Gala Premiere at Sunway Lagoon Amphitheatre. Click HERE for details.

However, last Saturday 19th Nov I have a chance to be behind the scene and meet the cast in Sunway Lagoon together with bloggers and media. The cast and crew have been practicing very hard day and night for the past weeks.

Aladdin The Musical tells the favourite tale of a boy’s magical adventure from street rat to Prince, when he is discovered to be ‘a diamond in the rough’ by Jafar, the evil aide to the bubbly and lovable Sultan. With the help of a magic lamp and a jovial ‘rapping’ Genie, Aladdin wrestles against the odds to win the heart of Princess Jasmine while he ingeniously uses good to triumph over evil.

Aladdin has the boyish romantic look

Princess Jasmine is so sweet and demure. Plus she has a beautiful voice,
when she sings The Whole New World

Genie is the funniest of all. I love it every time Genie appears. He is so energetic
and hilarious, always makes everyone laugh so hard

The Sultan in blue t-shirt

Jafar with evil and weirdo expression and The Sultan

Slave of The Ring, she is stylish with character. I like her costumes, its fabulous
with wings. But I did not hear her sing that day

Love this song 'The Whole New World' by Aladdin and Princess Jasmine

The dancers are from Philippines

This is the prototype of the actual stage. I can imagine that the real stage during the actual musicals with Laser effect, flying carpets, dancers in colorful costumes and the cast fully dressed will be awesome
