TwEAT @ Nuffnang FoodFest 2013 #NNFoodFest

Okay! this is my first time attending such a big Nuffnang event. Yeah! on 5^th Oct 2013 saturday afternoon I was at Nuffnang Food Fest 2013 in Sunway Pyramid. Oh ya! by the way so far this is the biggest Nuffnang event to date and glad that I didn’t missed it. I had a great time meeting and bumping into some bloggers, friends, nuffies and also get to know new friends. Oh ya! How can I forgot… the most important reason to be there was we get to eat and drink all we can by using Social Media Currency plus at the same time have fun. The first ever Tweet to Eat or TwEAT @ Nuffnang FoofFest 2013 #NNFoodFest so let’s nom nom nom!

Nuffnang FoofFest 2013 @ Blue Entrance Sunway Pyramid

I arrived around 4.45pm and there were already huge crowd at the Food Fest. All the food and beverages stalls are setup at Blue Entrance Sunway Pyramid. 

Lucky that day was a good day, no rain a bit warm and sunny. So the cold drinks and ice cream stalls were very busy. Actually all the stalls were quite busy. The food and drinks were best. They have many of my favourite food. Yuhuu!

As I have mention earlier, eat all we can by using Social Media Currency. So what is Social Media Currency? The Social Media Currency is Tweet to Eat and this is Malaysia’s first ever TwEAT Fest. All I need to do is to Tweet the food that I like to redeem, tag the vendor’s twitter handle and hashtag #NNFoodFest plus vendor’s hashtag (if any). 

If you are using iPhone than you can download The Official Nuffnang FoodFest App. Well, this app is only applicable for iOS for the meantime. For those using Android or other platform we just tweet, tag and hashtag. Simple as that.

There were lots of street foods including ice creams, fruit juices, ice blended drinks, desserts, local delicacies, burgers, oriental delights, snacks, coffee, pastries and many more. 

My first stop was Nando’s! it’s hard to resist Nando’s hot peri-peri chicken. Then I tried myBurgerLab chicken burger, Ninja Joe, Chatime, Juice Works, VinegPlus something new blended fruit juice with vinegar and others. We like certain food or drinks we can go as many rounds as we like but for each round we have to queue and tweet.

The vendors were Cielo Dolci, Nbrew, Maggi, Humble Beginnings, Sweet Montage, VinegPlus, Chatime, Yakult, Barista Guild, Juiceworks, Zuo, Andy's BBQ, Crayon Burger, Waroeng Penyet, Secret 009 Kalacs, Nando's, New Zealand Natural, Paradise Inn, 1901 Hotdogs, Brilliant Nasilemak, Crazy Potato, Daiban Noodles, Kee's Creampuffs, Master Mi, myBurgerLab, Niko Niko Onigiri, Ninja Joe, Planet Popcorn, Royal Post Café, Sek Me Choy, Sister Crispy Popiah, SS2 Goreng Pisang, Sumo Onigiri and Bee Cheng Hiang.

By the way, at the same time there were some talks about food and photography, sharing experiences and tips about food blogging among bloggers, maggi cooking competition and lots of activities going on.

Bumped into sweet Janice, the girl next door, since we were somewhere near the photo booth ahhh… might as well take pictures together. Hey we look so cool with the props.

I went back with a full stomach, happy heart and smiling ear to ear when I received the UTOO S2 Power Bank from Nuffnang. Muacks! I had an awesome possum time at the Nuffnang FoodFest 2013 #NNFoodFest. 

Thanks to all the Nuffies working so hard and smart to make this #NNFoodFest such a enjoyable and successful TwEAT fest. I hope we will have this event again next year with bigger and bolder scale… hahaha.
