The Raya vibes
is on and so as our shopping mood. Knowing that many of you will heading out
for your Raya shopping this weekend, here I have some updates for all the
shopping kakis. Luminous Reflections Of Raya @ Avenue K lights up KL with its Raya celebration offering an
array of stylish must-buys, great shopping deals, Raya activities, and spectacular
performances until 24th June, 2018. And for those who love taking Raya photos
or ootd, you can find some Moroccan decorated spots too.
Oh my look at their
Gound Floor Atrium it’s decorated with middle-eastern geometrical patterns with
abstract structural designs inspired by Islamic art. Prepare to be mesmerised
by the intricate and complex combinations of circles, squares, and triangles in
repetitive motifs and beautiful symmetry. Large decorative Moroccan lanterns

with Pasar Seloka, Avenue K will host a dazzling bazaar of stylish Raya delights
featuring brands from the best independent homegrown designers, creators, and
innovative entrepreneurs. There are 22 booths offering everything you need
under one roof from fashion to jewellery, accessories, children’s clothing,
independent shoe labels, lifestyle products, cakes, cookies and homeware.
Plus Avenue K is
also giving back in the month of Ramadan through our long-term partnership with
EMEL by Melinda Looi, which raises funds for charitable causes. The EMEL 2018
‘socially conscious’ Raya collection will be made available at our Main
Entrance indoor space.
Another highlight
of Avenue K’s Raya celebration is a series of celebrity showcases, traditional
dance shows, and modern instrumental performances. Catch award-winning rapper
Altimet and jazz icon Noryn Aziz in action as they enthral you with their
stunning performances. Also, enjoy a line-up of weekend activities featuring
Jawi calligraphy, rotan weaving, batik painting, and buluh weaving that will
entice shoppers to experience traditional Malaysian culture.
