1. Decide on what type of dress you are going to get

Also, you have will have to consider deciding the length of the dress you are going to be wearing. A few inches or a few inches short can totally make a big difference. You may also try to utilize the internet and jot down your favorite styles. There are hundreds of pretty dresses out there and all you have to do is find the perfect one for you.

2. Make sure that the dress is perfect for your body and face shape

Just because a dress looks fabulous does not mean it can look that way when worn. We all have different body and face shapes. Make sure to get something that is ideally fit for your body but at the same accentuates all your good features. Learn which dress is perfect for a certain body shape. 

You could either have an apple, pear, hourglass, or vase body shape. For instance, for pear-shaped bodies, it would look best if the dress can draw attention to shoulders and bust.
