The Grand Circle Tour goes from Zion to Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, the Arches, The Canyonlands, and finally, towards the Grand Canyon itself and Monument Valley.

5. Glacier National Park

6. Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree is a beautiful park with some truly unique landscapes. It costs $30 for the weekly pass and offers so much in terms of hiking and exploring the natural beauty of the Colorado and Mojave deserts. If you are interested in hikes without other tourists, then head out early in the day.

To spice things up, you should also make time to visit Pioneer Town, which is an old west movie set near the national park. It makes for a very interesting, fun day out and a good break from hikes and drives through the area.

7. Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon is great because it is made to be explored. Own an RV and find a great camping site and then bed down in luxurious comfort, because the park features a great free shuttle system designed to help adventurers explore the park without tarnishing the landscaping with large parking sites.

8. Everglades National Park

9. Badlands National Park

The badlands offer some of the best drives in the entire country. With breathtaking rock formations, beautiful color pallets, and some truly challenging hikes, there is something for everyone. While you are in South Dakota, you should also take a detour to see Mount Rushmore National Memorial.

10. Grand Teton National Park

The Grand Teton mountains are striking, and the landscapes are absolutely unforgettable. Featuring everything from high peaks to lakes and rivers, this beautiful national park is best discovered on foot, by bike, or even by canoe.

For the more experienced adventurers, you can hike overnight and camp along the way through the backcountry, or even mountaineer at
Denver's State Parks. If you’re with small children, then there are plenty of family-friendly camping activities to partake in and some great scenic drives.

It is also very budget-friendly. For a private vehicle, it only costs $35 for seven days, though if you live in the area, it is absolutely worth to invest in the annual pass ($70) so you can see the Grand Tetons throughout the seasons.

There are so many stunning landscapes in the USA that are famous the world over – and for good reason. Take advantage of the natural beauty in your own home country and get out there and see them. Your visit will help support the good work that park rangers and conservationists are going to keep these national parks special, beautiful retreats.
