MATSURI Festival at Pavilion Bukit Jalil

The highly anticipated MATSURI Festival – Konnichiwa, Japan. Together, Here is happening at Pavilion Bukit Jalil from 30 July till 3 August 2025. Inspired by the lively spirit of Bon Odori and organised in collaboration with the Japan Graduates' Association of Malaysia (JAGAM), this celebration transforms the mall into a vibrant cultural hub featuring Japanese traditional and contemporary performances, authentic street food, artisanal merchandise, and immersive cultural showcases.

MATSURI Festival at Pavilion Bukit Jalil 

Before the MATSURI Festival from 30 July to 3 August, Pavilion Bukit Jalil will hold a Japan Fair by The Food Merchant from 17 July to 3 August in front of The Food Merchant, Japanese vendor booths in front of MUJI to Tokyo Town from 29 July to 3 August, and the launch of the main festival at Centre Court from 30 July to 3 August, offering visitors a rich and diverse Japanese experience throughout the mall.

Only at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, the festival highlights the heritage and modern charm of Japanese culture, providing visitors with an unforgettable shopping and lifestyle experience in one of Kuala Lumpur’s fastest-growing townships.

Throughout the celebration, you can enjoy a curated programme of cultural performances by JAGAM members, alongside Japanese street vendors serving popular dishes and offering unique crafts and merchandise. Beyond the performances and food offerings, special attractions include a bonsai showcase displaying the art of Japanese miniature trees, Tamagotchi Pop Up by Cotton Blue, Doko Koko Pop Up by Nijigen and showcases highlighting traditional arts and gifts that will create a lively festival marketplace atmosphere throughout the mall.
