After all, there’s often a surprising number of things that you have to cram into your suitcase or carry-on bag, whether you are travelling for several weeks or just a few days. With that in mind, here are four things you should remember to pack before your next trip.
Sun protection. If you’re seeking out some sunshine during your trip, you need to take extra measures to protect yourself from the UV rays. For example, in addition to wearing sunscreen with a high SPF, you should also make sure you have a pair of sunglasses, such as ray ban glasses, to hand. This can protect your eyes from the glare of the sun, while also making you look effortlessly cool and stylish in any photographs that you take.
Medication. Staying on top of your daily medication or having supplies on hand for when you feel unwell is a step in the right direction when it comes to staying comfortable on vacation. Despite this, many people forget to bring their medication along. As such, this should be one of the first things you pack moving forward.
You should also be sure to bring along a copy of your prescription, as some countries may have strict regulations in place regarding what you can bring into the country. If you are going to be traveling for an extended period of time, reach out to your doctor ahead of time so that you will not run out of medication during your trip.
A portable phone charger. Our phones are our lifelines in many situations, so it is one of the last things you want to go without while travelling. After all, this could then mean that you’re unable to access the tickets for your flight, or figure out how to get to your hotel on arrival. As such, you should always ensure you have a portable charger in your hand luggage. In addition to this, you should purchase a travel adaptor so that you’re able to charge both your phone and your charger overnight.
A collapsible water bottle. Staying hydrated (especially in warm weather) is important. However, this doesn’t mean that you should bring your giant water bottle with you on your trip. It will take up too much room! Instead, invest in a collapsible water bottle that you can stick in your bag and fill up whenever you are feeling thirsty. Remember to use designated fountains as opposed to tap water where possible, as it is not always safe to drink the tap water abroad.
Final thoughts. Getting ready to pack for your vacation? Make sure that you’ve added everything included in this case to your list, and you’re on the right track to having a great time.
