Sometime I wonder how celebrities achieve the flawless and radiant look in front of the camera. Aha! now I know some of the makeup products and steps to achieve that type of look from Laura Mercier. Recently, Laura Mercier sponsored makeup Artist Stephen Sollitto created a Chic and Flawless 1970s-inspired makeup look for Amy Adams, who won the Golden Globe 2014 for Best Actress (Musical or Comedy) for her role as Sydney Prosser in American Hustle. In addition, celebrity makeup artist Mai Quynh exclusively used Laura Mercier on actress Reese Witherspoon.

To catapult the look into the ‘70s for Amy Adams, Sollitto applied a light dusting of Bronzing Pressed Powder in Matte Bronze (RM159). In order to achieve the perfect glow, apply Crème Cheek Colour in Praline (RM95) to Adams’ cheeks using his fingers. Then, apply a mixture of Crème Lip Colour in Tangerine and Discretion because the customized shade supported Adams’ bronzy glow, but didn't compete with it for attention.

First, Sollitto created a modern neutral base by applying Baked Eye Colour in Ballet Pink (RM85) all over Adams’ lids. Next, he brushed Baked Eye Colour in Terracotta, (RM85) into Adams’ lash line and lid and sweeping it out at the corners of her eyes and under her bottom lashes. To make Adams’ eyes “pop,” Sollitto applied Caviar Eye Stick Colour in Plum (RM89) to her upper lash line and the outer corner of her lower lash line.
