PUMA evoSPEED, the groundbreaking performance collection that for the first time in the Sportlifestyle brand’s history, features product offerings for all PUMA sport categories.  Inspired by the Usain Bolt - the World’s Fastest Man, the collection answers every athlete’s need for speed by taking performance technology and innovations and incorporating them in footwear and apparel developed for running, football, motorsport, golf and indoor sports.  evoSPEED will be available from end of July in Malaysia. 

Designed under the criteria of “light, flex, and fit”, all evoSPEED footwear features lightweight materials, increased flexibility and an optimized fit that enables a greater freedom of movement without compromising support, to enhance speed. For the first time in PUMA’s history, the classic Formstripe has been changed and a new lightening version, a signature graphic that emphasizes speed and harkens back to Usain Bolt, will be featured on the complete evoSPEED footwear collection.

The evoSPEED styles will be worn by PUMA’s key athletes in running (Usain Bolt), football (Sergio Aguero and Mario Gomez), motorsport (Fernando Alonso) and golf (Rickie Fowler) this summer and beyond. Running - BOLT evoSPEED Runner (RM 369)

Inspired by the competitive performance spikes that Usain Bolt will be wearing during the 2012  Diamond League and at the Olympic Games in London, the BOLT evoSPEED Runner is a light, breathable and flexible trainer built to enhance speed. Through evoFOAM, a lightweight midsole cushioning, this trainer offers a fast, responsive and smooth ride. The BOLT evoSPEED Runner upper also has a modern and fresh aesthetic, to bring a strong lifestyle appeal to the track.

Motorsport - evoSPEED F1 Mid (RM 349)

The evoSPEED F1 Mid is the newest style in the PUMA Motorsport range, and took its inspiration directly from the Formula 1 race track and the performance of World Class drivers such as Fernando Alonso of the Scuderia Ferrari F1 Racing Team. The shoe features a full EVA comfort midsole, an internal EverFit cage for enhanced fit, and a heel wrap up for better grip. For extra durability, a rubber spray toe-cap has been added. The minimalistic pattern piecing and the asymmetrical lace system showcase the focus on function for this style.

Football - evoSPEED 1 FG (RM529)

Part of this cross category collection is the evoSPEED 1 FG, worn by PUMA’s top football players including Sergio Aguero, RadamelFalcao and Mario Gomez. The next generation in PUMA’s Speed silo, the evoSPEED 1 FG is one of the lightest boots in the market and is designed to help players achieve top speed. The upper features a soft and ultrathin microfiber material whilst stability is provided by the internal EverFit cage.The anatomically engineered lightweight one-piece outsole provides stability and support, utilising high-tech materials to minimize weight and to maximize its flexibility and reactivity. The evoSPEED 1 FG features an external heel counter which secures an excellent heel fit and the new PUMA evoAptoLast which provides an industry leading fit.

Golf - FAAS TracevoSPEED

For the golf category, speed is represented with the FAAS TracevoSPEED. The latest PUMA Golf shoe was worn by COBRA PUMA GOLF superstar Rickie Fowler at the U.S. Open and other 2012 golf tournaments. As with the other evoSPEED collection styles, the FAAS TracevoSPEED provides maximum flexibility to enhance a 360° movement as well as very lightweight materials. 

These light and highly functional materials deliver unmatched protection through extremely durable waterproofing, taped seams and high breathability to shield the athlete from external forces. The outsole combines directionally molded S2Quill spikes with replaceable S2Quill spikes for ultimate grip on the course. The spikes are situated within a stepped outer frame with additional traction elements to provide a stable, supportive platform. The FAAS TracevoSPEED further provides improved balance, feel and lateral stability.

Indoor – evoSPEED Star (RM199)

An additional part of the evoSPEED collection is the evoSPEEDSpeedstarthat will be worn by many international handball and futsal players. Matching the general evoSPEED criteria, the shoe features very light weight materials, a super flexible outsole and the EverFit cage that offers a perfect fit and support. A mesh tongue further adds breathability whilst the removable perforated sockliners provide additional comfort.

I am looking forward the weekend, I am sure you all know why we love weekends and hate weekdays especially Monday ;p

There are so many happenings this weekend not only in KL but also in Penang and Kuching. Talking about photos… hmmm….how many hours do you actually spend sitting infront of your laptop editing, touch up or PHOTOSHOP your photos before you dare to upload it… be honest la... I think at least few hours to edit photos especially profile pictures hehehe... erase the wrinkles, lines, dark spots and luminous the skin so that we look like superstar in the photos… oppsss

Reviews: Every time when I come across Talika, it reminds me the word “28 Days”. Always… because its Talika trademark that we can see the result after 28 days. At first, I am not familiar to use the silicon spatula applicator. I thought after I squeeze then I can use my finger to apply… hahhh! the trainer Miss Rebeccah say no-no to me. We must use the applicator to apply and also squeeze out a small at a time and apply area by area. Because the Skin ReTouch fluid will absorb into skin and dry very fast so have to use the applicator to spread the fluid across in an instant as well. Tadah!!! Can see the difference… 

Instantly, I can feel that the fine lines and wrinkle on my hand, face and neck are less visible. The pores especially on my cheeks are less visible in an instant, I am not afraid of taking close up photos anymore. My skin looks plump up, skin tone more even and slightly brighter. It leaves a velvety smooth, matte and soft skin. That I love touch my skin because it is so smooth.

Actually, I am not very convinced with matte finishing products, I have dehydrated skin so at first I am afraid the Talika Skin Retouch might be to dry for my skin. But it is not, after I apply on my face I continue with my daily make-up routine and I find that my make-up last longer and I don’t have shinny nose and forehead. After more than two weeks, skin is brighter and my fine lines are visible. I can see the difference in my photos, the dark areas around my nose are less visible, less spot and even skin tone.   

It is suitable for all skin types.

Miyavi Live in Kuala Lumpur 2012

Asahi (Japan’s No. 1 Beer) is proud to present larger than life Japanese rock musician Miyavi live exclusively at The Stage in Avenue K, Kuala Lumpur, at 8.00pm, on Wednesday 25th July 2012.

Critically acclaimed J-Rock artist, Miyavi performs live in KL for the first time. Known as the samurai guitarist, he has a flair for playing the electric guitar with just his fingers, instead of with a conventional pick, and he is achieving worldwide appeal for his original, one of a kind slap style.

Through his three successful world tour, this visual kei artiste already conquered 30 countries across North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, with over 150 shows.

He converged all the genres of rock, punk, hip hop, and dance, into his most recent album released in late 2010 - the innovative “What’s My Name?”, in which all the songs are composed only with guitar and drums.

One year after that, Miyavi conceptualised a collaboration project with established ‘samurai’ artistes across all genres on the “Samurai Session World Series”, which saw its first release “Strong” - featuring Japanese hip hop artiste Kreva. 

A distinguished and bona fide rock star in his home country, Miyavi also has a legion of loyal and dedicated following worldwide amongst the Japanese rock fans circle. “I realise that I have so many fans outside of Japan, and I really want to visit them and perform at many places overseas,” shared the maestro.

Organised by entertainment company A-Creations, the concert is supported by JETRO (Japan External Trade Organisation), endorsed by the Embassy of Japan, supported by Pavilion’s Tokyo Street (Partner).
