For thousands of runners, the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon (KLSCM) is more than a race. It is the culmination of months of training, early-morning runs, and personal milestones. As the official footwear and apparel partner for the second consecutive year, ASICS Malaysia brought together experiences throughout KLSCM 2026 that spanned race-day excitement, recovery, performance, and community. With 40,000 runners from 70 countries taking part and RM500,000 in total prize money awarded, KLSCM 2026 brought together runners of all levels for a weekend centered around the shared experience of moving together.

ASICS House: The Dedicated Hub to Recharge, Connect, and Celebrate
The experience extended well beyond the course with the debut of ASICS House, a dedicated hub for invited OneASICS members and guests to connect, recharge, and celebrate.
Held on 3 and 4 October 2026, the space offered cold-plunge recovery baths to soothe tired muscles and accelerate post-race reset, a Personal Best (PB) Wall to mark milestones and log race timings, a custom keychain station for personalized keepsakes, and complimentary refreshments in an energetic social sanctuary.
Designed as a sanctuary from the race-weekend rush, ASICS House brought the running community together, capturing the social spirit of the event through shared moments, conversations, and celebrations before and after the finish line.
ASICS Roving Truck & Cheer Zones
For the first time at KLSCM, ASICS Malaysia introduced the ASICS Roving Truck, bringing the brand’s race-weekend experience directly to runners across Kuala Lumpur. Making stops at several locations in the lead-up to race day, the truck offered runners the opportunity to try out ASICS footwear and experience the brand beyond a traditional event setting, before making its final stop at the KLSCM Cheer Zone to support runners on race day.
“Every runner comes to KLSCM with a different goal, but on race day, we all share the same streets and the same spirit of moving forward. This year, we wanted to create an even bigger experience around that journey. From the ASICS House, which gave runners a space to recharge and connect, to the energy of the Cheer Zones that gave runners that extra push when they needed it, and seeing our athletes take on the course alongside thousands of runners, it was inspiring to see everyone come together and make race weekend their own.” — Boon Tib Soom Nik, Country Manager of ASICS Malaysia
Exclusive ASICS x KLSCM 2026 Merch: RUNKL Collection
Adding to the KLSCM experience, ASICS Malaysia unveiled the ASICS x KLSCM 2026 Merch, featuring the RUNKL apparel line under the theme “Where the City Meets the Stride.” Inspired by Kuala Lumpur’s running community, the collection brings together familiar Malaysian experiences and the energy of the city.
The collection was designed by Wilson Ng, a local artist and muralist from Kota Kinabalu, who drew inspiration from his own experience running on the streets of Kuala Lumpur. His artwork captures the raw energy and spirit of urban running—specifically through the "Run in Kuala Lumpur" graphic tees—adding a vibrant local touch to the KLSCM race weekend.
