Guardian Malaysia today announced the debut of cult-favourite Korean skincare brand Pyunkang Yul, now available at its stores nationwide. Developed by the esteemed Pyunkang Korean Medicine Clinic, the brand draws on over 50 years of expertise in treating atopic and sensitive skin conditions, offering minimalist, high-performance formulations designed to restore skin balance.
For its debut, Guardian Malaysia is introducing two of Pyunkang Yul’s top-selling skincare lines—the Calming and Barrier lines.

The Calming line is a targeted solution for sensitive and acne-prone skin combining soothing herbs with sebum control to calm irritation while maintaining oil-water balance. Products include the Calming Barrier Cream, Deep Moisture Toner, Low pH Foaming Cleanser, Moisture Serum, Pore Clear Wash Off Pack and Sun Cream.

The Barrier line presents a restorative solution designed to strengthen the skin barrier, lock in moisture, and support long-term skin health—making it ideal for dry and sensitive skin.
Products in this range include the Essence Toner, Moisturising Essence Mask Pack, Deep Clear Cleansing Balm, Moisture Cream, Moisture Serum and Airy Protection Sun Stick.

“Malaysia represents a key strategic market for Pyunkang Yul as we expand our footprint in Southeast Asia. Kihwan Seong, Chief Executive Officer of ByPlay Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the local distributor of Pyunkang Yul in Malaysia, expressed confidence in the brand’s local potential. ““We see a clear shift in Malaysia toward ingredient-conscious skincare, with more consumers prioritising products that are gentle, effective and suitable for sensitive skin,” he said.
