This year, The Gardens Mall’s Deepavali festivities are not only celebrating the beauty of kolam art, but also a vibrant tribute to classic Indian architecture and traditional dances. The kolam design draws inspiration from the beautifully intricate details seen in Mughal domes, ornate arches, carved pillars, as well as sacred spaces that symbolise protection and prosperity. Dance and music are an integral part of Deepavali celebrations, and this year’s kolam echoes these rhythms by capturing the graceful forms of the Bharatanatyam dancer and other classical arts. Collectively, these elements create a kolam that is both a visual delight and a cultural narrative, paying homage to the artistry of the past.

Experience a moment of pure enchantment as the dancers transform the kolam's inspiration into a live performance.
Bring your creativity to light and personalise your own mud lamp and clay art magnet. All you have to do is spend a minimum of RM50 at any store in The Gardens Mall to register one participant. Limited slots are available, so make sure to sign up 30 minutes before the workshop session begins.
