First week of July almost over, now I am looking forward for Ramadhan month. Break Fast or Buka Puasa together with friends, colleagues and families always the best time during the month. I love spicy food so Ramadhan Buffet especially those serving masakan kampung or authentic Malay cuisine.

This fun-filled event will be featuring the talented and witty Celebrity Chef Jaafar Onn who together with renowned singer Haiza, promises everyone a memorable dining experience.

Hyundai Euro Tour 2012 at Sutera Gemilang Auto 3S Center in Shah Alam

Just a few days before the EURO 2012 Final Match Spain vs Italy, I attended the Hyundai EURO Tour 2012 at Sutera Gemilang Auto Sdn Bhd 3S Center in Shah Alam. Hyundai Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) in conjunction with Euro Cup 2012, held an event called Hyundai Euro Tour.

Hyundai is the official vehicle sponsor for Euro 2012. What is Hyundai Euro Tour 2012? In conjunction with Euro 2012, Hyundai organised a roadshow, where their Hyundai Euro Tour roving team would visit a total of eleven participating Hyundai 3S centres in Johor, Perak, Penang and the Klang Valley from 16th Jun to 1st Jul, 2012, spending three hours at each centre, giving away freebies, jersey, and a virtual football game where the highest scorer stand a chance to win iPhone.

Met some familiar faces from the previous events, as usual we chit chat, take pictures, eat and also played games. This is sort of easy going and chill event on Friday after work, whereby we don’t have to be there at specific time the events from 4pm till 7pm. Throughout the 3 hours a virtual football game were held. Participants must try to shoot as many goals as possible in a given time and the one with the highest score win an iPhone. So who won the iPhone?

Besides, HSDM was also giving out complimentary limited edition football jerseys to the lucky few. More than 100 visitors redeemed the jersey at Sutera Gemilang Auto during the event.

My Country, My Cheer. Now Is The Time To Cheer For Malaysia!

With just less than a month to go before the world’s biggest sporting event, Malaysia sports fans can showcase and share your support for your national athletes with ESPN STAR Sports’ “My Country, My Cheer” Facebook application. This application is hosted on www.facebook.com/espnstarsports, and enables visitors to post words of encouragement for their Olympic Games representatives.

 

In addition to providing a platform to cheer on the Olympians, the application also provides a detailed programme schedule for the lead up, and duration of the Games, to ensure that no sports fan misses any of their favourite athletes or Olympic Games moments!

Visitors to ESPN STAR Sports’ Facebook page are able to navigate to the “My Country, My Cheer” application, where they will land on their country page, which features a visual made up of ‘pixels’. There, they can pick one of the pixels from the visual on which they can post their well-wishes. From there, the pixel will display the user’s Facebook profile picture within the visual itself. Users can also share their cheers on their individual Facebook walls, invite their friends to participate, and also tweet about it.

Not only will the “My Country, My Cheer” application gives supporters the chance to show their support for their athletes and teams, they can also win exclusive ESPN STAR Sports London 2012 prizes for writing the most creative and passionate cheer. Official London 2012 premiums from ESPN STAR Sports include exclusive Games lapel pins, caps, t-shirts and more. Winners will be announced daily and will be notified via email.

This “My Country, My Cheer” Facebook application is just one of the many digital activities ESPN STAR Sports has lined up.
