Recently Tai Thong Group introduced their new menu that features a mixture of classic favourites and innovative delights with a total of 112 items available at all outlets across Klang Valley & Ipoh from 1st June 2017. By the way, do you know that Tai Thong Group Executive Chef Lee Wee Hong and his team spent around a year concocting these new dishes.

In conjunction with the new menu launch, Tai Thong Group is offering a special rate from 1st – 30th June 2017 for you to taste their 6 new signature dishes. All prices are exclusive of 10% service charge and GST.

So many yes for this dish! As you know I love lamb and this braised Australian Lamb with Water Spinach in Casserole is just splendid. A hearty dish filled with juicy well-seasoned lamb chunks and crunchy water spinach that you can’t resist. This combination is special and definitely going to be a hit, I don’t mind going back for this dish. Did I tell you the gravy of the braise lamb is so addictive and good to go with steamed fragrant rice.

A hearty casserole of soup with mixture of fresh Grouper fillets, prawns, scallops and variety of seafood are boiled for hours with chinese mustard, tomatoes, pumpkin and chilli. Love it! the appetizing and sweetness of soup from the varieties of fresh seafood with a hint of sourish, a delicious and nutritious choice for the whole family.

It has been a while I had mee pok and that night it just brings back the memory. A flavourful and semi wet mee pok with XO sauce and eggplant is appetizing, just add a but of sambal belacan will be perfect.

This is like the crispy yam basket but it’s a twist, filled with tender and succulent beef pieces are fried.

Overall, I love spicy food so overall their Selera Menu is suitable for me and go very well with rice. Its flavourful, fragrant and cooked to perfection, like the classic way.

  2. Wow, one year to draw up the menu. I am impressed. A lot of heart must have been put into it. In Ipoh, they are known as Royal China Restaurant.
