Magical Forest & Mid-Autumn Celebration @ The Arc Bandar
Rimbayu
|
It’s another together-gather event organized by IJM LAND at the ARC, Bandar Rimbayu under the theme of 'Harvest Joy and Unity Under the Moon'. Everyone regardless race and age were welcome to join the harmonious Mid Autumn celebration and have fun together with their family and friends.
Mystical fairy tale wonderland at the Arc Bandar Rimbayu and the lover's bridge |
I was surprised when I reached venue, the usual lush greenery landscape
and lakeside were transformed into a mystical fairy tale wonderland. The
wonderland became even more beautiful at night when all the lights and lanterns
were light up, it’s like a Magical Forest.
Food stalls setup serving various types local delicacies |
At the foyer there
were food stalls setup serving various types of local delicacies such as Char Kuey Teow,
Satay, Nasi Tomato, Poh Piah, Thong Shui, Assorted Nyonya Kuih, Coffee Truck
and many more.
Mooncakes and fresh pomelo sampling |
Not only that there were also mooncakes and fresh pomelo sampling.
What is Mid-Autumn Festival without mooncakes, pomelo and lanterns right? I got
a red lantern paper as well.
Mini Barbecue area for children |
Children were also able to partake in the activities with a
special Mini Barbecue area where they were able to enjoy tasty grilled treats.
It was fun seeing them doing the BBQ and then sharing it with their parents and
other siblings.
The Chinese orchestra that played a selection of contemporary
tunes
|
After makan, we strolled along the lakeside and enjoyed the night
view. One will never missed the gaily lit Lovers' Bridge, which resembles the
love story and sympathetic to sacrifices of Chang Er to Hou Yi in the ancient
years.
The beautiful Garden by the Creek, the Mystical Forest and giant lanterns |
Apart from that, many took the opportunity to take photos at the beautiful
Garden by the Creek, the Mystical Forest and giant lanterns in all shapes such
as rabbit, tortoise and panda.
Children were happily playing with complimentary paper lanterns |
Besides these, children and adults were happily playing with
complimentary paper lanterns, sparklers and luminescent bracelets around the
grounds of the park. At the same time there were games or competition going on such as
like peeling pomelo father and son, treasure hunt and many more.
