It was Nellie & Chris who suggested to visit La Kagu in Kagurazaka on our last day in Tokyo. Despite of the cold weather 0 degree Celsius and long walk along the Yaraicho Streets when we reached there it was worth it. An hip eco-green street fashion heaven, lifestyle, bookstore and café. La Kagu is pretty new up and trendy two storey shop cum café, it was opened in October 2014.

The La Kagu building, designed by Kengo Kuma and Associates, is built around a 1965 storage facility that's been carefully revamped while maintaining its Showa-era charm and the comfy outdoor terrace.

On ground floor, as I entered I was awakened by coffee aromas from the café. Apart from coffee they also served other drinks, food and desserts.

I love the open concept and long wooden tables. I was quite pack on that day, most of the seats were taken.
