Hello! Here I was at the reopening of Shu Uemura new concept store at
Suria KLCC. I will take you for a quick tour around the store later but now let
me take a selfie… me wearing the lastest sensation and vibrant Rouge Unlimited
Sheer Shine Lipstick. Can you guess which color I am using?
Shu Uemura said “colors are like personalities, they are
infinite.” The colours tht we like actually represents our personalities and
mood, right? There is a trick, we can achieve a healthier complexion even though
our skin is tired and dull; besides applying the right foundation and blusher,
the correct lip with sheer and shiny finish can enhance our skin radiance.

The gathering at Shu Uemura Suria KLCC started with welcoming speech
by Carole about the new concepts of the store and then followed by the product
briefing and demo by Brenda Yap. So get ready to wear pop sheer sensation of
vibrant colours.
Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Sheer Shine Lipstick comes in 12
sensational shades. The moment I saw it I have spotted some colours that I love.
This season I am going for the darker shade, I want to be bold and loud.

Tips from Brenda, try to apply lipcolor using brush instead of
direct. Let me show you the different, with brush the color is more even, intense
and precise plus the more important thing is that it helps to cover up the
line. As you can see if we apply direct from the lipstick like I usually do the
color is not so desirable. So a little bit of effort can give a good impact on
your pout.

The wine #SWN286 is my pick! It’s a lightly melting balm stick
infused with vibrant hybrid pigment, creates a vividly glowing and transparent
‘colored glass’ like finish on the lips. The natural emollients provide superb
moisture and comfort.
The application is smooth, if possible try to make it a habit to
apply lip balm before your lipcolour. That is to protect our delicate lips from
drying, lines and decoloration.

The finishing is sheer and shining, although the wine #SWN286
looks dark but when I applied on my lips it like mid berry color not too heavy
or dark like gothic style.
The lasting effect is moderate because it moisturizing and shinny
so after food we might have to reapply. However, it’s very moist, shine and
non-sticky. I don’t need to apply lipgloss after applying the Rouge Unlimited Sheer
Shine Lipstick.

The shiny finish was achieved with candelilla extract wax and a
combination of shiny oils. It’s a soft and comfortable texture providing non-sticky
and lightweight feel on the lips. These combined gives a sheer coverage and
soft melting touch in comfort.

Overall the 12 sensation shades of Rouge Unlimited Sheer Shine

Let’s me take you for a quick tour of Shu Uemura KLCC new concept
store; as you enter you will be greeted by the pink Shu Bear, everyone loves
her. There is also a welcome table displaying the latest collections, product
or newly launched and also the promotions.

The center is the product experiencing counter where we can try
and play with the colours. On the right is the makeup display… omg I wish that
I can have that at home. It cost a bomb! Then the Shu Heritage wall and the big
tv screen playing makeup steps and others.
As we took a few more steps towards inside, there is a brow
counter and lash bar. The brow counter is something I love. You know that Shu
is famous for their brow styling right. So do head over to the store to get the brow style that will enhance for
your look. The left side of the store is more for skincare and also Shu’s
cleasing oil.

ReplyDeleteI especially love how the first shade look on you. Very bold yet feminine. That is the one shade I never wear though, I don't think it'll look good on me. Maybe I should try someday. I saw the revamped store, it is nicer than the old one. Never got the chance to drop by though, maybe I should sooner or later <3
