Last week I was a busy from Monday to Sunday… and this week almost
the same. They say busy means good, well so far my life is full of surprises
and I am enjoying every moment of it. No matter how busy I am I will surely
squeeze some time for my regular workout even though it’s a quick one at least
it’s better than none. Got back to KL from YouTube FanFest in Singapore early
on Saturday morning had a short nap and showered and dashed out to join the
Salomon team for their training and also the latest X-Scream 3D launch.

Yeehaaa!!! Geared up in Salomon latest X-Scream 3D City Trail and ready
to go! What do you think of this set of purple Trail Runner tee and shorts? I
think it matches my shoes and the most important is comfort and cool while
running during the hot weather. We had the warm-up session and off we go
running around KLCC park. After the run, we had our breakfast and briefing at the Apartment KLCC.

As we know that Salomon is recognized for technical leadership in
trail running footwear; the X-Scream 3D City Trail is a multi-tasker for urban

is my first time running on Salomon’s. I have tested it on the road, jogging
track as well as the various urban landscapes the X-Scream 3D delivers the 3D

The cushioning platform gives enough support for city trail run
however it’s not suitable rough terrain. Remember the X-Scream 3D is fitted for
city trail runs. Next I am going to run on a longer distance and trail to test

Salomon is well-known for its innovative Sensifit, Sensiflex and
Quicklace for outstanding foothold and comfort. Add Endofit and a seamless
upper even without socks it’s still alright. For me, I must wear socks for
additional cushioning and protection. The first time I tried the Quicklace is
kind of complicated. That was my first time, once I got the momentum right it’s
done within split second for secure and comfort fit. Remember press to loosen
and pull to tighten.
Salomon Quicklace Steps
1. Slip your feet in the shoes and pull the tops of the laces to
tighten the lacing system.
2. Pull the lock or cinching mechanism down toward the tongue of
each shoe, sliding it along the laces. Cinch the laces to your desired tension.
3. Tuck the lock or cinching mechanism and the excess lace into
the elastic lace pocket on the outside of the tongue. It’s done and neat.
Sensifit system works to cradle the foot providing a precise and secure
fit and the Sensiflex, two stretch panels that support natural foot expansion
and forefoot flex while still maintaining support.

I've never heard of this brand before. perhaps they're not available in sg. but almost RM500 for a pair is also pretty pricey!

ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I'm hearing about Salomon. And, if they're in Malaysia now, I hope they decide to bring the brand to the Philippines too. There's a huge market for them here, especially with all those lovely colors.

ReplyDeleteColorful shoes! Do they have something suitable for trekking? The place is not really a rough terrain but a little rugged than the city one.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see you running this time. We had our City Trail event at Intramuros last year, which had us running at various terrain and enjoying the view of history Intramuros is known for. I also like the colors of their new shoes.

ReplyDeleteLike it because it's pink! The bright colours make the shoes very outstanding and cheerful. The most important thing is that it's good and comfortable for jogging.
ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with the brand, but I love how those trainers look! <3 I really dig the bright colors, and more importantly, they're comfortable. Will definitely look into this when I buy my next pair of trainers! :)
