Curated by renowned Malaysian artist Phillip Wong, EmpowHER Art transforms the Rooftop (Level 4) @ ABOVE at Avenue K into a sprawling gallery space. Over 11 days, the exhibition showcases 100 fine art canvas paintings created by 50 professional artists and creative professionals from diverse backgrounds.

The core themes explore:

• Womanhood & Identity: Nuanced expressions of female perspective, strength, and life experiences.
• Resilience & Empowerment: Celebrating achievement, individuality, and personal stories.
• Hope & Renewal: Powerful artistic reflections that challenge boundaries.

Notably, the showcase features artists who have overcome physical, cognitive, and sensory challenges while continuing to develop their craft. Their perseverance and artistic mastery offer visitors a profound look into hope and self-expression beyond physical limits.

Art with a Purpose: Supporting Breast Health Awareness

Presented in a meaningful partnership with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA), EmpowHER Art combines artistic expression with tangible community impact.

• 10% of Proceeds Donated: Ten percent of proceeds from artwork sales during the exhibition will be donated directly toward supporting BCWA’s ongoing breast health initiatives.
• Public Education & Mobile Clinic: On 9 October 2026, BCWA will host an on-site Public Education Booth and Mobile Clinic session at Avenue K, providing visitors with essential resources on breast health, self-examination techniques, and early detection.
