The area of Cool Springs can confuse some because it is neither a town nor a city. Instead, Cool Springs grew up around the shopping mall that gave it its name.

The 1 million square foot shopping space that is Cool Springs Galleria, started the whole commercial center that largely comes under the city of Franklin. Despite not being a city, or even a town, in its own right, there is plenty to do in the vicinity of Cool Springs, not least, shopping.

Where to go shopping in Cool Springs?

Of course, anyone having a getaway in Cool Springs should head straight to the mall. Cool Springs Galleria has over 150 different stores from specialty boutique shops, to brand names such as The Body Shop.

In fact, Cool Springs Galleria has enough for a whole day of activities and fun along with some retail therapy. The mall houses a bowling alley, an American Girl store, and a large food court for breaks between shopping.

However, no matter how good retail therapy can be, there are many more options for a getaway in the surrounding area.

Treat yourself to a day spa

There are plenty of spas to choose from in and around the Cool Springs area. Surely any getaway should include at least a few hours being pampered, and Cool Springs day spas can offer all the popular treatments.

While you are receiving a rejuvenating facial, having a pedicure, and a massage, don’t forget to visit https://authenticbrazilianwax.co/ for waxing by an esthetician.

Enjoy the outdoors with a picnic

If you enjoy dining al-fresco and want some time to just chill with your best female friends, then head to Pinkerton Park to enjoy the fresh air.

There is a loop to follow if you want to stretch your legs, an art wall, deer, and playgrounds. If you are looking for awesome activities to try this summer, then you might like to know about the movies in the park. During the summer there are free, family-friendly movies shown in the park after sunset.

Take a hot air balloon ride

Just ten minutes south of Cool Springs Galleria is Aces High Ballooning. If you fancy adding something different to your women’s getaway, or girl’s weekend, then this is it.

Take a chartered journey over Franklin and Tennessee, or return another day with your partner for a private romantic trip just for two. If hot air ballooning seems like too much adrenaline, then there are more relaxed ways to spend your time in Cool Springs.

Visit the theater or see a show

The Franklin Theater is less than 5 miles from Cool Springs Galleria and plays host to movies, plays, and concerts. However, you might want to remember where Cool Springs is, and travel a little further for some entertainment.

Bluegrass, blues, southern gospel, rock'n’roll, and country, all come from Tennessee. You may want to venture out a little further one evening and find a music venue in Nashville. Less than half an hour from Franklin lies some of the best music venues, with the best musicians, you could hope for.

The Ryman Auditorium is a world-class music venue and is affectionately known as the Mother Church of Country Music. Can you visit Tennessee without taking in some of the music that the state is known for?
