5 Habits of Happy Women That Will Improve Your Life

We all have good and bad days. It’s just a part of normal life. There is an Arab proverb that says that “sunshine all the time makes a desert”. We can learn something from those bad days and that’s what to avoid and how to change the situation for the better.

Long term happiness is something we all strive to achieve. There are some simple habits and design your lifestyle that will show you that leading a happy life doesn't have to be complicated at all.

They Pamper Themselves

Leading a busy life can sometimes get in the way of the things we love. And we shouldn't let that happen. Pampering yourself includes a wide range of activities which all, as a result, bring you pure happiness and relaxation.

You can start your day getting up a few minutes earlier and taking your time to freshen up in the bathroom. Then slowly and intentionally wash your face and take your time. After that, put a little makeup on (if that makes you happy), style your hair with some ravishing hair accessories, and look in the mirror and say to yourself that you are beautiful and loved. That's an instant self-love boost before the morning even began.

One of the pleasures of life is long and hot baths. Soaking yourself in steamy water can be both rejuvenating and relaxing. You can make this time just for yourself and light some scented candles, pour a glass of wine, put your favorite music on or catch up on some reading. You can add to your bath some bath bombs, salts or essential oils for an added touch of luxury.

They Remember to Smile

If you start your day with a smile on your face, even if you’re not in a particular mood, your day will instantly change for the better. There was a study involving several people who were told to fake smile, and after a while, they actually started laughing and smiling sincerely.

So that phrase “fake it ‘till you make” it is actually true. We all have gloomy and blue days, where we just want to hide under our blanket and never be found. But if you remember that even this day will pass, maybe the thought of that will put a tiny little smile on your face.

Sometimes we forget that all of us are fighting their own battles. Big or small it doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is that showing compassion can sometimes be crucial for that other person. A warm smile warms up our hearts. And with all of that positive energy, you will be only attracting more of it. And if you're thinking about enhancing your smile, be sure to drop by the professional dental clinic in Queen Creek.

They Don’t Compare

Happy women don’t compare to other women or men. They show them support, that they care, and kindness. They don’t need to compare to other people because they are already happy with who they are and what they have.

We can all sometimes fall into this silly trap. We scroll through Instagram, or any other platform, and see all those people leading those exciting lives. It seems as tho everyone is traveling somewhere, eating the best food in the world and doing something really important. But the truth is even if that is the case that shouldn’t bother you.

You have your own life, stuff that you like to do, and people you like to spend time with. Maybe you don’t even like to travel but it has become so popular that you feel weird for even thinking that way. But don’t worry about a thing. You just do you and in no time you will forget about all those people you don’t even care about.

They Have a Routine

Having a routine can help you save some precious time. Having a schedule or writing somewhere a to-do list can really help you with organizing your day. Time is something we all need more of and can never get enough.

Writing down simple to do list can maximize your performances during the day. You know what, how, and when you should do something which will automatically save you time and energy. You won’t get stressed out easily and won’t procrastinate.

Procrastination has been proven to be one of the biggest triggers for stress. Which is perfectly logical. You pile up all those chores and duties hope they will get away (and they don’t the pile just gets bigger), and start doing those things in the last moment. Of course, that will make you go crazy.

You can buy yourself a fancy notebook, some colored pencils and just let your imagination to work. A lot of women have said that having a nice notebook really helped them with their organization in the beginning.

They Don’t Hold Grudges

This one can be really tough. We have all been hurt in one way or another. By a friend, colleague, a family member, even by some people, you can’t remember their names now. This can be the toughest and most rewarding change you can make in your life.

Letting go of fear, anger, abandonment, rejection will all lift a weight off your shoulders. These are complicated emotions we all need to deal with and can take us to some pretty dark places. But when you “clean” everything up, that feeling of relief is unforgettable.

Do you know the phrase “forgive and forget”? If you think it’s all too much to do at once, try either of them. The smartest thing you can do is to forgive but not forget. Those tough situations made us who we are and we can make a great deal from those past experiences. When you let go of all of these emotions you will make room for happiness to come in.

“For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson, remember this quote or even better hang it somewhere on the wall where you will see it. In the toughest times, it will become really useful.
