Recently DatumCorp International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) announced an en bloc sale of the residential component of the transit-oriented Datum Jelatek as well as the signing of 40 new tenants for the mall component of the development during Datum Jelatek Business Partners Signing Ceremony.

The event took place at DatumCorp Galleria, Jalan U-Thant where MyAngkasa Az Zahra Sdn Bhd’s Director Muhamad Shaharul Haji Mohamad Shariff signed the Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with DatumCorp International Chairman Hajah Norita Mohd Sidek for the purchase of 379 units in Tower B and Tower C. The units will be placed under a Rent to Own (RTO) scheme.

Well, Datum Jelatek is DatumCorp International’s RM 1.2 billion transit-oriented integrated development which is directly connected to the Jelatek LRT station via a link bridge from the mall. The multiple-award winning development comprise 712 residential units spread over 5.65 acres of prime land which are linked to a 319,000 sq ft (NLA) four-storey retail mall.

With the en bloc purchase, Datum Jelatek’s is now 70% sold. Currently the construction for the development is 65% complete. The Pacific Marketplace and Pacific Concept Store are the anchor tenants of Datum Jelatek mall, with a two in one retail concept.  The Marketplace is located at Lower Ground Floor that occupies approximately 33,323 sq ft of retail space. It will house a wide range of merchandises such as fresh produce, groceries, toiletries, household selection and a variety of imported products from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and many more.
