If you are looking for an affordable smartphone with good camera quality at the same range, perhaps you can check this out. The Flash 2 was launched in Malaysia last week and will be available beginning of next week. Here is my experience using the Flash 2.

Flash 2 Experience & Review

I am sure most of us are using smartphone, the most important things for me when I decide on a smartphone is the camera quality, user ability and last but not least must be able to match my budget also. Space is also an important consideration. https://www.holgadirect.com/photostick-mobile-review/ tells about the PhotoStick mobile that helps create a backup of photos and important data and create more space in mobile phone.

I know year-end is coming so some of you might be looking for presents for your parents or loved ones, I think the Flash 2 is one of the options that you can consider.

Let’s me start with the phone outlook, this unit is Volcanic Grey color. The size and curve back fitted on my palm firmly. The matte and non-slip material finishing keeps the device spotless. Plus it comes with metal skirting yet overall the weight is not too heavy.

The highlight for Flash 2 is the camera, the newly improved camera technologies. The “Flash Green” ring around the rear camera signify innovation, youth and energy that Flash 2 is builds upon and Alcatel Flash is committed in providing us the mobigraphy experience.

Mobigraphy is actually the combination of mobile and photography. As you know we all love to take photos anywhere, anything and also anytime. So a good photos makes us happy and satisfied when we shared it to our friends and family or post it on social media. This has become a lifestyle and we love to selfie or wefie also.

Flash 2 has the best camera in its class, if we compare among the same price range. The 13 MP ƒ/2.0 rear camera with 4128 x 3096 pixels, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, touch focus to provide sharper and clearer pictures. I took some of the food and environment photos that turn out to be pretty good.

The front camera is 5 MP with LED flash with face detection and also active gesture capture function which auto capture when gesture is detected. There are time lapse and s-edit mode to fine tune the photos before posting it up on facebook or instagram.  It can also do panoramic and multi-angle shots. All these functions enhance our mobile and photography experience.

There is a square touch button on the bottom right side, it’s the click clear feature. Once you touch the button those non-use app that is still running will all close. It helps to save the battery.

The Flash 2 runs on Android OS, v5.1 (Lollipop) and also comes with Dual SIM (micro-SIM card) and bobust 64-bit Octa-core Processor. Built with the incredibly powerful 64-bit 8 core 1.3Ghz Cortex-A53 MT6753 Processor along with the 2GB LPDDR3 SDRAM, Flash 2 delivers robust performance for heavy duty usage. Users can multitask seamlessly. For peak graphic performance, Flash 2 comes with the Mali-T720MP4 GPU.

  4. Kels the photo quality for the Flash 2 looks pretty good. The shot taken is soft but crisp and in terms of mp, 13 is quite high definition. Plus the price is pretty great too - so maybe I will consider this for a secondary phone? lol
