By myself waiting for someone who will never come... Does this scene or coffee shop look familiar to you? By the way can you guess I am in which era? There will be more scene from different eras after this… Here for the special party of Guinness x Malaysia Celebrating 50th Years Together at the Intermark Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Friday night was filled with fun, friends and Guinness.

Wow time flies it has been half millennium Guinness brewing in Malaysia and still growing strong. It was a night of celebration and at the same time unveiled three limited-edition designs for its Foreign Extra Stout bottles and cans.

The new limited-edition designs have been created for Malaysians by Malaysians. Behind the designs are five luminaries of the Malaysian creative scene, who came together to explore the concepts of history, identity, and culture which have informed the new limited-edition looks.

Each one is bursting with vibrant colours and intricate patterns, inspired by the wealth of history and culture Malaysia has to offer. What hasn’t changed however is the glorious Guinness inside (the black brew) it’s still the exact same formula that Malaysians have known and loved for all these years.

I was captivated by the setups of the different era of Guinness milestones in Malaysia. It was a brilliant idea, memorable and nostalgic.

Actually each limited-edition design represents a distinct era in Malaysia’s journey stretching back to our tribal roots, through to the age of independence, leading into the modern day and looking ahead to the future.

This is the first time Guinness created brand new limited-edition designs specifically for one country, drawing inspiration from its culture and its people.

  1. I know Guinness but I have never tasted it because I do not drink alcohol. Anyway, if you wear a bit higher heels, you could already be one of the Guinness models there. :-)

  9. I love Guiness!! My favorite drink to make with is is Irish Car Bombs! You drop a shot of Jameson and BAiley's onto your Guiness and drink it as fast as you can!

  10. Guinness is, without a doubt, a famous brand. It's nice to see they have an already old history - 50 years in a country! And interesting new options.
