Hello! New Year is over and we are in the midst of preparing for Chinese New Year. For some Chinese, I know some of you started to Lou Sang already be it during corporate dinner, events or food review. Of so this is my third Lou Sang of 2015 and I hope there will be many more to come. The more the merrier and Huat Ah!!! I was at Tai Thong Spring Reunion Dinner Celebration at their Imperial Garden Restaurant in Intan Square, Petaling Jaya.

Usher in the Year of Goat and indulge in authentic Cantonese cuisine at any Tai Thong restaurant, where decadent 2015 Chinese New Year and Spring Dinner temptations awaits. The scrumptious dishes that we tried were all in quite a generous portion, nicely decorated and of course tasteful delicate Cantonese cuisine.

Golden Fortune Yee Sang with assorted fruits and nuts
This is by far the Yee Sang that I love most! It’s refreshing with all the mixed fresh fruits and crunchy nuts like sliced fresh star fruit, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds and black sesame. It’s healthy and the sauce is not sweet at all, everything is just the way I like it.

Golden Treasure Poon Choy in Szechuan style
Here comes the golden pot! This year there are something different, Tai Thong infused the traditional Poon Choy with a contemporary Szechuan-inspired twist.  Golden Treasure Poon Choy uses a fragrant Sour and Spicy sauce as its base, it filled with exotic spices, fiery flavours and a treasure trove of assorted seafood, including fish maw, sea cucumber, squid, conpoy, tiger prawn and dried oyster.

I would prefer the traditional Poon Choy that can taste the real sweetness of all the rich seafood, meat and poultry. Golden Treasure Poon Choy is priced at RM298++ for 5 pax and RM498++ for 10 pax. Advance orders are advisable and takeaway is also available.
