This is my favourite and the dish that I will come back for. Ola! Can’t get enough this Braised Lamb Shank with Porcini Basmathi Rice instead of risotto. Before I dig in the dish, I said a little prayer in my heart ~ thanks God for food and friends. Count my blessing. The succulent lamb shank marinated and braised to perfection with red wine, carrot, celery, onion, bay leaf, rosemary and served with the savoury aromatic porcini basmathi rice. The best combination ever… muahh!

This is my favourite too. The fresh and smooth Cod Fish baked with teriyaki sauce, chickpea, young papaya salad and served with Basmathi Rice. The sweet teriyaki sauce goes well with the fragrant rice and the cod fish just melt in my mouth. And melt my heart.

Spicy Oxtail Soup 
Spicy Oxtail Soup served with Basmathi rice and some herbs. As you know I don’t take beef so this dish I skip but I did try the Basmathi Rice with herbs like lemongrass, ginger, spring onion, lime leaves and carrots. Just the rice itself already tastes so good and the hint of herbs is freshing. My friend said that the Spicy Oxtail Soup was good, this dish was finished so fast after we were done with the photo shooting.

When this dish was served, I heard many ooo aaa… looks like many love this dish and some already can’t wait to dig in… well they can have my portion. The medium rare Angus Beef Tenderloin looks like so juicy and welcoming. The same type of Basmathi Rice as the Spicy Oxtail Soup was served with this dish and the paper wrapped is the braised porcini mushroom.

Seafood in white wine soup. I prefer this than the tomato base soup because it is more flavour and quite special. The soup is not too thick just nice when the Basmathi Rice soaked in the soap it gives a kind of unique aroma.

Mango Crisp
We never say no to dessert even though we were so full that evening. Can you spot the Basmathi Rice? This is deep fried ripe mango covered with breadcrumbs. The Basmathi Rice is on the base with the strawberry sauce and the vanilla ice cream with nuts. So fusion food I feel like Thai and Italian, I love the sweet rice and ripe mango.

This is my first experience eating Basmathi Rice in a fine Italian restaurant. Overall, all the dishes served were well presented and perfectly combined with basmathi rice instead of risotto. As a rice lover I like the new twist! Say yes to porcini basmathi rice because I love it. This was a unique and memorable dining experience for me. It gives me some inspirations to create my own dish or recipe using the Jasmine Pusa Gold 1121 Basmathi Extra Long Rice.

Basmathi rice texture and fragrant aroma aroused my appetite, it perfect to eat with dishes or just by itself. When every bite is satisfying and fulfilling; if you are a rice lover you will know what I mean. Jasmine Pusa Gold 1121 Basmathi Extra Long Rice is one of the most sought after basmati rice and the has longest grain in the world. It’s usually consumed by the royal family and served in a luxury restaurant. When it’s cooked it is not sticky, very aromatic and we can see the nicely long shape of rice one by one itself.
