The grand finals of the PUMA Virtual F1Simulator Challenge was the curtain call for the exciting PUMA Motorsport Red Cube campaign that concluded its run as the brightest red spot at the Pavilion since 7 March. 

 
PUMA Simulator Challenge 

Last Sunday, 25th Mac before the Formula 1 tyres started screeching at the Sepang International Circuit, another group of drivers stepped up to stake their claim to racing glory in the Grand Finals of the PUMA Motorsport Red Cube Simulator Challenge held at Level 3 of Pavilion in Kuala Lumpur.

PUMA Simulator Challenge – Top 9 Finalist 


The grand final pitted the skills of the top nine participants with the fastest lap times recorded during the qualifying rounds held from 7 – 22 March at the PUMA Motorsport Red Cube. All nine drivers were given a final opportunity to record their best possible lap times on the Simulator, with the top three times of the day moving on to the epic battle for final standings. All participants who competed in the competition received a RM20 PUMA Motorsports voucher for their efforts.  

PUMA Simulator Challenge Winner – Mahmood Bello

Emerging as champion was Nigerian Mahmood Bello, after he set a blazing fastest lap time of 1:29.456 in the final rave to take home bragging rights and RM1000 in PUMA Motorsport cash vouchers for his efforts.

Eighteen-year-old student Ayman Aqeem placed second with a lap time of 1:29.555, while 17-year-old Chin Won Jack finished third in 1:30.153. The duo took home RM500 and RM300 respectively in PUMA Motorsport cash vouchers.

“We are extremely pleased with the response for the Simulator Challenge. Malaysians have great skills on the road and this was apparent from today’s highly competitive racing. Congratulations to all the winners and participants and we hope they enjoy selecting from our new range of motorsport apparel,” said Gabriel Yap, Head of Marketing for PUMA Malaysia.
