Korean Drama Series: Angel Eyes

Angel Eyes is a well-crafted storyline that is heartfelt and touching; with some intriguing twist to spice up the plot. Angel Eyes is about a blind woman, Yoon Soo Wan played by Gu Hye Sun (Yes, Captain) and Park Dong Joo played by Lee Sang Yoon (Sex is Zero 2) were each other’s first loves. They were forced to separate due to painful family circumstances. It is voted as number #9 in Dramafever: Top 10 Asian Dramas that will make you cry your eyes out. Twelve years later, Soo Wan, who had been blind, eventually undergoes an eye transplant surgery that restores her sight. In a way of demonstrating her gratitude, Soo Wan works as an EMT (Emergency medical technician). While Dong Joon is a surgeon, he meets Soo Wan again but Soo Wan is engaged to Neurosurgeon Kang Ji Woon played by Kim Ji Suk (Wonderful Mama, Alice in Cheongdam-dong) who is a thoughtful neurosurgeon and will be the third member of a love triangle with Yoon Soo Wan and Park Dong Joo.

Knowing this Park Dong Joo decided to keep quiet and not reveal his identiy to Soo Wan and also decided to go back. Will Soo Wan realize that Doctor Dylan Park is her first love, Park Dong Joo? Will they be able to rekindle their love despite all the obstacles that they are going to face?
