Samsung GALAXY S4 Review

Hi! Awww! I have been eyeing for this GALAXY S4. Yay! I am so happy when I got a chance to play with this GALAXY S4 for two weeks after attending the workshop. This super duper Samsung GALAXY S4, the most anticipated smartphone of the year was launch in Malaysia on 27^th April 2013.

Well, the GALAXY S4 is power packed with lots of amazing features and functions. I can’t believe it but yes they are true and exist. The additional new and cool features such as Group Play (Share Music, Share Picture, Share Document, Play Games) Story Album, S Translator, Optical Reader, Samsung Smart Scroll, Samsung Smart Pause, Air Gesture, Air View, Samsung Hub, ChatON (Voice/Video Call, Share screen, 3-way calling), Samsung WatchON, S Travel (Trip Advisor), S Voice™ Drive, S Health and etc.

Basically, this are the 4 key values of Life Companion in GALAXY S4; Fun, Relationship, Life Task and Life Care. I think these key values covers everything that I can ask for, tasks can be performed and completed faster, more manageable and fun.

There are so much things I can do and explore with this S4. The GALAXY S4 looks so cool and fit nicely on my palm, the 5 inch vivid screen is actually slightly bigger, the body is slimmer and lighter than my S3. Plus it has a longer battery life 2600 mAh. The finishing is solid and elegant, available in White Frost and Black Mist. Well, I prefer the White Frost.

GALAXY S4: Group Play Share Music

For the past two weeks it was fun playing with this new toy. First and foremost, we girls love to take pictures, lots of them. GALAXY S4 13 mega pixel rear camera and 2 mega pixel front camera can do lots wonders.

Now days, I just use the GALAXY S4 to take pictures during events and reviews. It makes my life easy, I don’t have to carry the heavy camera in my handbag.

GALAXY S4: Dual Camera

The Dual Camera is something that I think I can’t live without. Awesome! I can take my self portrait picture and the surrounding plus set the design of my portrait and I can move it around at the spot that I desire. This helps to capture the memory and the date of the event. There are so many things that I can do with this Dual Camera such as Dual Shot Drama Shot, Sound & Shot, 360 Photo, Animated Photo, Eraser, Night, Best Photo, Best Face, Beauty Face, HDR (High Dynamic Range), Panorama, Sports.

GALAXY S4: Samsung Smart Scroll

Did I say that the S4 is looking at me… the Samsung Smart Scroll tracks my eye movements. Well, I just need to look at the screen then move my eyes up or down to scroll. When I was watching a movie or video on my GALAXY S4, if I move my eyes away from the screen the video will pause and when I look back at the screen it resume back, this is the Samsung Smart Pause. Yes it is so smart.

GALAXY S4: Air Gesture

Another magic is the Air View and Air Gesture. Simple as that, when my finger is dirty or oily I still can command without even touching the screen. I just wave my hand to the left or right across the screen to flip through photos, music or pages.

My favourite app, yes! the S Health. This is something I feel connected with the phone. With this S Health app I can keep track of how many calories I ate and burnt. This helps me to keep my fitness level in check.

Love to take pictures and post or instagram of what we eat? Yes! it is a trend I guess, now with the S Health app I can check how many calories in my every dish or meal by just taking the picture of what I eat or I could selected the food description. Omg… now I am so cautious of what I eat, usually I exceeded the average calories intake huhuhu... so I should start burning the extra calories. Every time I run, walk, yoga or exercise I can set it and the S Health app will calculate how many calories I burnt. I recorded the calorie I take each day, set my goal and view my progress.

GALAXY S4: Accessories

After using this GALAXY S4 for 2 weeks, I am tempted to upgrade my GALAXY S3. There are many more features to explore. Overall, I find that the GALAXY S4 is amazing and has lots of features that complement my lifestyle, it’s a Life Companion.
