Have you try Soak Off UV Gel Nail Polish? If yes, do you like it?
Two weeks ago, I did my Soak Off UV Gel Manicure at bmic Nail Spa Salon, Starhill Gallery KL.
What is Soak Off UV Gel Nail Polish?
Unlike normal nail polish, each layer of gel nail polish is "cured" under a UV nail lamp to set and dry. Soak Off UV Gels come in a wide array of colors and finishes.
Usually I will go for dark intense color (especially red) for my manicure and pedicure. But this time, I choose a light peach color (Code: B133). The Soak Off UV Gel Manicure can last about 2 to 3 weeks, depends on individual nails conditions and how we take care. Because when the nail grows, a lighter nail color that nearer to skin tone color will not show a big different between the nail and manicure.
Before coloring, we still have to go through the basic nails prep my nails like sanitizing hands, filling, pushing back the cuticles with cuticles pusher and also remove all the dead tissue.
My beautician is also named Kelly. Start with applying 1 layer of base coat and 2 layers of UV Gel Colour (B133). After each layer of UV Gel Color, my hands the UV light box to dry. Well takes about 2-3 minutes each time for the Soak Off UV Gel Nail Polish to dry. It dry really fast compared to normal manicure. She finished with one layer of top coat.

When the Top Coat dry, then wipe off the sticky top layer with Gel Cleanser. Finally is done. The whole process for coloring, excluding prep time takes about 30 minutes.

After the coloring, I was given hand massage using OPI Avojuice hand & body lotion. The last time I tried Jasmine. This time I choose Grapefruit. Lovely citrus scent…
Finally its done! Love it :)
Well, after two weeks the nail colors remains unchanged, still looking good and shinning. One thing inconvenient about Soak Off UV gel Nail Polish is that you can't remove it with normal polish remover. So I need to go back to the salon to remove it.
